I grew up working in my parent’s small repair shop working on motorcycles. Snowmobiles, boat motors as well as other small engines. From that time on I had a passion for engines and vehicles of all kinds. My first job as a technician was at an AMC Dealer and while I was there, I obtained my Red Seal certificate in automotive repair.
After received my automotive technician certification I worked for a few other shops and dealers and did some evening classes for the local community center on vehicle maintenance. I loved teaching the evening classes and decided to work toward a Bed. Degree. Since getting my education certificate in 1991 and then my education degree I have worked as an automotive instructor. In 2019 I was offered early retirement from the classroom and am now self-employed.
I have been a NACAT member since 2001 and have enjoyed being a part of this organization and have made many new friends and contacts over the years.
