Short bio:

Grew up in Arlington Texas and graduated from Sam Houston High School   in 1995. Took automotive mechanics in high school and liked it so much that I wanted to make a career out of it. Joined Tarrant county college for Automotive Technology in 1996 and got a part time job as an Auto mechanic helper at Saturn of Arlingotn. Soon after graduating from college continued working at Saturn of Arlington until 2000. Got married in 2003 and moved to Denton Texas and started teaching automotive technology at Denton High School and got a part time job as a technician at Sears Automotive during this time we had two beautiful kids (Sameeha and Hammad Alikhan). In 2007 I was asked by my ex automotive instructor Jeff Parks to move to Tyler Texas and teach for him at Tyler Junior College and I am still happily working at TJC.

What has NACAT done for me and what it means to me:

I have been a member of NACAT for past 4 years. I have never been excited so much about going to a weeklong training because of the wonderful people I got to meet. The beauty of attending NACAT is that I could bring my family along with me and while I am attending awesome training sessions they are out and about visiting new and cool places.  I have been a member of NACAT for the past 4 wonderful years. I have met many wonderful people and have been too many great places.
