Current Position: Professor Employer: Mt Wachusett Community College Previous Position(s): Automotive and Marine Technician Years with NACAT: 24 Years in Education/Training: 30 Years in the Industry: 40 Certifications: CMAT, L-1, Emissions Affiliations and Positions: SAE Short bio: I started working in the industry when I was 15 and have enjoyed it ever since. I attended a 2 year automotive repair program and then attended Western Michigan University with a degree in Automotive Service and Management. After graduating I worked in a Dealership for one and a half years. I then started the Automotive Technology program at Mount Wachusett Community College where I have been teaching for 30 years. I still work on cars on the side and at a boat store during the summer. I am the election chair besides being a board member. What has NACAT done for me and what it means to me: I have been a member of NACAT for the past 24 wonderful years. I have met many wonderful people and have been to many great places. My family has been to and seen a variety of interesting places throughout the US and Canada including snow on July 4th in Banff National Park. I have attended many great seminars and learned a great deal by attending the summer conference. I continue to meet new friends and learn new things which makes my life richer and fuller. |
